Rabbit Hill Farms, in 1982 became a Vermi –Composter, manufacturer of
organic fertilizer Gardner, grower, lecturer, teacher, freelance writer,
previous board member of Farm & Ranch Freedom Alliance, and board
Member of TOFGA. Mark Chapin - Owner of Chapin Farms and owner of DM Plus. Dm Plus is a diverse solution of all-natural living microbes and the enzymes they produce in both agricultural and landscape applications. Mark has been involved in all areas of organics for over 35 years. He raises grass fed beef and manages his pastures biologically and organically. He raises cotton patch geese organically and holistically. Lynn Remsing - On a five-acre tract in the middle of Arlington, Lynn Remsing runs a U-pick farm. But he also works with other smaller farms to increase sustainable fruit and vegetable production in various parts of the state. Lynn also runs Gnismer Farm Equipment. Come see germination chambers, plastic mulch, intensive growing in a small area, and a demonstration of the compost turner. Lynn will have some of his equipment on display at the workshop, but come to the farm and you can see some of it in action! Pamela Klein Johnson - Full time organic farmer, activist, Weston A. Price Chapter Leader, retired engineer. She is passionate for growing clean, nutritious food, proper raising of our livestock and the preparation of traditional foods to promote health. Pam Johnson along with her husband Ronny are the owners of Rose Creek Farms in Wise County, Texas. Trish Percy - Founder of Feed Texas First, a grass-roots organization that supports ensuring our food security in North Texas. Helping farmers create and maintain local markets for their products. Trish is also the current region 4 director for the Texas Organic Farmers and Gardeners Assoc. Susie Marshall - Founder of the Gleaning Network of Texas. The Gleaning Network of Texas is a nonprofit, grassroots organization whose goal is to use our state’s existing surplus fresh produce resources to help alleviate hunger and improve nutrition for food-insecure Texans. Susie is the current president of the Texas Organic Farmers and Gardeners Assoc.
